![]() ![]() Food is lousy at buffets but for free you can sustain life on them. Rooms in Shreveport are amazingly nice and we get comped rooms during the week and sometimes upgraded to suites. I can't really speak to the slots other than to say my wife has never had a significant hit on one and certainly never walked out ahead any money which she occasionally does in Las Vegas. We do occasionally go to Shreveport where they do have craps, regular black jack (no 6:5 seems to have invaded there yet), and do serve drinks in the casino. I think they are all ridiculously tight so I don't touch them, but if you are a slot player it might make a difference.Īnd, they just aren't the same as being in Vegas, by a long shot. I don't play slots at all by my mother plays a lot and she says they have the tightest machines in any casino she has ever seen. And third, they do not serve free drinks like in Vegas. I would say your chance to win against those numbers is virtually zero. Second, you must "ante" 50 cents per hand for black jack which is a 10% disadvantage to start with and then the normal house advantage. I never gamble in those casinos because of several reasons. I live in Dallas and the closest indian casinos are in Oklahoma which is very close. ![]()
